Websites for local service businesses that want to be found and called.

Most of your work already comes from referrals. That referral still looks you up before they pick up the phone. This is about what they find.

Built in about two weeks Hosting, security and updates included You talk to the person who built it

The problem

The referral looks you up first.

Someone recommends you at church, at a ball game, on a job site. Before that person calls, they type your name into their phone. What they find in the next ten seconds decides whether they call you or the next name on the list.

Nothing to find

A Facebook page last posted to two years ago and a phone number. Nothing that says you are still working, still good, still worth calling.

Built for a desktop

They are standing in a driveway holding a phone. If they have to pinch and zoom to read your services, or your number is not tappable, they are gone.

No way to reach you

They are thinking about it at nine at night. If the only option is to call you tomorrow, tomorrow is when they call somebody else.

A dated website does not lose you strangers. It loses you the customers somebody already vouched for.

What's included

Everything that makes a site actually work.

One price, everything below. No add-ons you find out about later, and nothing you have to go set up yourself.

Design that fits your business

Built around what you actually do and who calls you, not a stock template with your logo dropped in the corner.

Mobile-first build

Designed for a phone first, because that is where nearly all of your visitors will be. The desktop version follows from it.

Copywriting

I write the words. You answer a few questions on a phone call and I take it from there.

A page for each service

Separate pages so somebody searching for one specific job lands on that job, not on a homepage that mentions it in a list.

Quote form that reaches you instantly

Emails you and texts you the moment somebody submits it. No portal to log into, no lead sitting unread.

Photo gallery

Your finished work, sized and compressed so it loads fast on a phone and still looks like your work.

Google reviews on the page

The reviews you have already earned, shown where a customer is deciding, instead of somewhere they have to go looking.

Local search setup

The technical side of turning up when somebody nearby searches for what you do, done properly at build time.

Hosting

Fast hosting included. Nothing separate to sign up for and no bill from somebody else.

Security and SSL

The padlock in the address bar, kept current, so browsers never warn a customer away from your site.

Backups

Automatic, so a wrong edit or a bad day is never permanent.

Ongoing small changes

New number, new service, new photos, new hours. Send them to me and they get done.

How it works

Four steps, about two weeks.

You are not going to sit through a discovery phase. Here is the whole process.

  1. We talk

Twenty minutes on the phone. What you do, who calls you, what you want the site to do for you.

  2. I show you the site

Not a mockup or a sketch. The actual working site, already built for your business, ready to look at on your phone.

  3. You approve it

Wording, photos, colours, anything that is not right. We change it until it is the site you want.

  4. You are live

Usually about two weeks from that first call. Then it is mine to host, secure, back up and keep updated.

Also available

Two things worth doing alongside it.

Google Business Profile optimization

The listing that shows up in Maps and in the local results above everything else. Categories, service areas, hours, photos and the details most profiles leave half-filled in. Often the difference between showing up in your own town and not.

Review system

A straightforward way to ask every customer for a review at the moment they are happiest, so the people who would gladly leave one actually do. Reviews are the thing a referral checks after your website.

Sample work

A build you can look at right now.

Sample build

Construction & remodeling

A complete six-page site built as a demonstration: separate service pages, a labelled project gallery, reviews, and an estimate form that reaches the contractor the moment it is submitted. Built exactly the way yours would be.

I am Jack Malugen. I am a Dothan native and a Troy University graduate, and I build websites for local service businesses — here in the Wiregrass, and for owners anywhere in the country who work the same way.

This is not an agency with account managers and a support queue. When you call the number on this page you get me: the person who built your site, and the person who will change it when you need something changed.

I take on a small number of builds at a time. That is the reason the turnaround is two weeks instead of two months, and the reason a small change does not sit in a ticket system for a fortnight.
